BERYL KATHLEEN MCMILLAN 1927 2008 Peacefully with her family by her side, Beryl passed away on September 26 2008. She is survived by her loving husband Earl; her children, Cheryl (Dean), Robyn (Scott), Holly (Ron), Aaron (Barbara), and Brett (Suzie), her nine grandchildren, James, Brandy, Sherry, Shaun, Rikkilee, Skyler, Austin, Kaitlyn and Mackenzie; her one great-grandchild Brayden, her six special stepchildren, Donna (Charlie), Gerald (Gwen), Sandra (Jim), Dan (Bev), Aleta (Jim) and Geoff (Lynn); her 13 special step grandchildren, Julie (Glen), Jill, Jamie, Kate, Andrew, David, Kyle, Brian, Taylor, Dan, Matt, Genelle and Maggie; her one great-step grandson Tallin, her sisters, Wynne (Menzies) and family and Gay (Glen) and family and her brother Randy (Wendy) and family. Beryl is predeceased by her father William; her mother Lulu; brothers, Kelly and Doug and sisters, Tennyss and Adeline. Beryl was born on June 5, 1927 in McNutt, SK. She attended school at Angusville, Pipestone, and Gilbert Plains, MB. After finishing school, she moved to Selkirk, MB for nurses training. She then moved to Vancouver, BC where she became a hairdresser, married Reid Smith (deceased 1989) and became the mother of five wonderful children. Beryl lived in Port Renfrew, BC for 39 years before moving back to Manitoba, marrying Earl McMillan in 2001. Beryl loved life, and this radiated out to everyone whose life she touched. Always the life of the party, Beryl could make anyone smile with her upbeat sense of fun and laughter. She will be missed! A private celebration of life will be held.
