Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOWEN DESNOYERS Peacefully, with his family by his side, Owen Desnoyers passed away at Grace Hospice on Saturday September 27, 2008. Left to treasure his memory are his loving wife Susan; his parents, Dan and Ruth Desnoyers; brother Don (Mary-Martha Hale) and their children, Meredith and Daniel; sisters, Bev Murray, Brenda Tyre, Lorraine Rading (Gabe), Arlene Grant (Jim) and their children Elizabeth and Andrew as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Owen was born in Calgary, Alberta on January 16, 1955. As his father was in the military, their family was posted to various cities over the years Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa, North Bay. Owen attended university in Sudbury, Ontario and returned to Winnipeg in 1978. There he met his future wife, Susan, and they were married in May of 1981. At the time of his passing, Owen was employed as the Executive Director of the Red River College Students' Association. The family wishes to thank his palliative care nurse Monique and all the staff at Grace Hospice who ensured Owen's final days were dignified and peaceful.
