Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (RITA) LAW 1919 2008 Peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2008, our beloved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother passed away at the Middlechurch Home. Rita leaves to cherish her memory her children Carole (Bill) Worden, Bill (Marlene), and Belle (Bill) Wild, her grandchildren Will Heather, Meaghan, Shaundra, Cameron, Kaid and Kale, and her great grandchildren Callum, Kirsten, Alec, and Mackenzie. She is also survived by nephew Ernie in England and her sister-in-law Wilma Wright and Margaret Moorhouse. Rita was predeceased by her husband Henry in 1978 and her sister Eileen in 2000. Rita spent her entire life living and attending school in West Kildonan. She worked until retirement at the Bank of Montreal on McGregor and Selkirk. She was an active member of St. Martin-in-the-Fields Anglican Church, working for many years in the Altar Guild and Ladies Aide. She was a member of the Jephthah Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Mom loved her sports and curled with the West Kildonan Ladies and Business Girls for many enjoyable years. She loved watching her grandchildren play hockey and highland dance. She was a great Winnipeg Jets fan and loved watching curling and hockey on TV. Mom's happiest times were at Loni Beach with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her daily walks to the point. Her Saturday night dinners and card games with Auntie Peggy and friends were also very special to her. The family would like to thank the N2 staff of Middlechurch Home for their care and compassion for Beautiful Blue Eyes . A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin-in-the Fields Anglican Church, 160 Smithfield Avenue.
