WILLIAM (BILL) REMPEL Bill Rempel of Neepawa, MB (formerly of Plumas, MB) passed away on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Bill was born June 7, 1929 at Lowe Farm, Manitoba. He was the eldest son of Jake and Sarah Rempel. He worked in road construction most of his life and ran his own business for many years. Bill loved sports. He played hockey and ball for many years and he passed on his love of sports to his sons and grandchildren. Bill leaves to mourn his wife, Viola (Fischer) of 58 years; his sons Fred (Elene), Dewayne (Sherrilyn), Bob (Barb), Ward (Jean-Ann), Kelvin (Tracey); 10 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; his brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and at Bill's request, a private family interment will take place in the Plumas Cemetery at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Plumas Knox United Church, Box 67, Plumas, MB R0J 1P0, to Neepawa District Palliative Care Service, Box 1240, Neepawa, MB R0J 1H0 or to the charity of one's choice.
