AGNES JESSIE GOUGLAS February 13, 1921 - September 27, 2008 Agnes passed away gracefully in Calgary, AB, on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the age of 87. She was born in Melrose, MB and resided in Winnipeg until her move to Calgary in 1984. Agnes had many interests; she loved baking, reading, fishing and gardening. Family was the most important part of Agnes' life. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Vincent, son Frank (Audrey) and daughter Debbie Scharein (Don); grandchildren Sheri, Greg (Geri Lynn) and Theresa Gouglas, Jessica, Stephanie and Rachel Scharein; great-granddaughters Alix and Kailah Gouglas and one great-grandbaby expected in February 2009, who she was able to see through the miracle of ultrasound the day before she passed. She also leaves to mourn her sisters Adeline Babiuk (Robert), Janet Normand (Don), Stella Johnson and Kay Sulyma. She was predeceased by her son Robert, parents John and Katie Winiarz, sister Mary Winiarz and brothers Joey, Peter, Frank, Walter, John and Stanley Winiarz. Thanks to Southwood Nursing Home staff for their compassionate care. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827-24th Street SW, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827-24th Street SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jack Pereira, Presider. Graveside service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
