CPL. RICHARD (RICK) PHILIP OTTEWELL (RET.) May 15, 1941 - September 24, 2008 Suddenly on September 24, 2008, Rick passed away at his home. Rick was predeceased by his father Phil Ottewell. Rick will be remembered by his daughters Mary Anne and Leslie; mother Marian; and brother Frank (Janet). He will also be remembered by Frances as well as many extended family and friends. Rick was born and grew up in Toronto. He spent over 30 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force, which included two peacekeeping tours in the Middle East in addition to being stationed in Germany and across Canada during his military career. The family would like to thank the homecare workers and paramedics who cared for Dad. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow.
