Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE WILL (nee SAGERT) 1925-2008 With great sadness, but reassurance we announce the passing into the Lord's presence of Anne Will at St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday September 28, 2008, at the age of 83 years. Anne will be greatly missed by her daughter Mavis Diachun and grandson Kurt Diachun, sister Lily Yarowy (John) of Brandon, brothers Toefel Sagert (Edna) and Joe Sagert (Erna) of Swan River and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald, son-in-law Peter Diachun, brother Oscar (Anne) Sagert, and parents Olga and Emil Sagert. Anne was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1929. She grew up on a farm near Minitonas, Manitoba and spent many of her later childhood years caring for her younger siblings when her mother was ill. Anne married Ronald Will in 1949 and located to Ebenezer Saskatchewan where they farmed for 39 years before semi retiring and moving to Yorkton. Two years after the loss of her husband Anne moved to Winnipeg in 1992. Anne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a strong work ethic. She loved gardening and farm life. She was a creative person and an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed needlepoint, shopping, and took several trips in later life. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with Pastor Mark Doerksen officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Interment will take place in Yorkton at the Yorkton Cemetery on Monday, October 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. Judy Komosky and to the staff at St. Boniface hospital for their care and support.
