DR. EDWARD G. JARJOUR It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Dr. Edward G. Jarjour. He peacefully passed away on September 29, 2008, at St. Boniface General Hospital with his loving family by his side. He is predeceased by his parents Dr. and Mrs. Ellis Jarjour and his brother Raymond Jarjour of Montreal. He was born in 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He grew up in the Wolseley Area. He attended Laura Secord, Gordon Bell and United College. He graduated from McGill University in Dentistry in 1953. He followed his father in the practice of dentistry in Winnipeg and opened his own practice in St. Vital. He leaves to honour his memory his devoted daughter Marcia Jarjour, his three grandchildren Ellis John, Faye Rae, and Graeme Edward Brooks, his brother Dr. Wilfrid Jarjour of Toronto, his two nephews Edward and Charles Jarjour and his longtime friend Adelia McDonald of Gimli, Manitoba. The family would like to extend their appreciation to We Care and Homecare. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street, on Thursday, October 2 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass celebrating Dad's life will be held at St. Ignatius Church, corner of Corydon and Stafford, with Father Gerry McDougall presiding, on Friday, October 3, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
