ROBERTA CASINGAL ALVAREZ Roberta passed away peacefully on September 29, 2008 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 77 years. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Rolly (Chit), Jude (Grace) and Edwin (Becky) from Winnipeg; sons Henry (Susan), Ramon (Caridad) and Fermin (Liza) from the Philippines; six grandchildren in Canada and nine grandchildren in the Philippines. She also leaves to mourn, her sister from the Philippines as well as relatives in Calgary and the Philippines. Lamay to be held Friday, October 3, 2008 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. commencing at 6:00 p.m and concluding at the request of the family. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Mosaic Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street, Msgr. Enrique Samson Celebrant. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main St. West St. Paul MB. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Seven Oaks Hospital; friends and family that visited Mom and to all who contributed food and gifts for the Lamay.
