MARIE-ANNE ROSS (nee DORNEZ) Peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB, Marie-Anne Ross (nee Dornez) passed away at the age of 84. Born on July 25, 1924, the daughter of Theophile Dornez and Maria (Fiola), she was predeceased by her husband Elie in 2002, her son Hilaire in 2001, her brother Bernard and her sisters, Rosalie (Jean) Ledet, Angeline (Rosaire) Marcoux, Delia (Origene) Morin, Noellie (Gerard) Morin and Adrienne (Jean-Paul) Saindon. Marie-Anne is also predeceased by sister-in-law Yvonne Dornez, and brothers-in-law, Alphonse Beaulieu and Jean-Paul Lansard. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gilles (Fran) Ross, Doris (David) Belsham, Rita (Roger) Hupe, Marcien (Yvette) Ross, Aime (Agathe) Ross and Monique Johnson; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Leon and Jean (Blandine) Dornez; her sisters, Elizabeth (Leo) Ross, Marcelline Beaulieu and Josephine Lansard. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6 at Sainte Anne Roman Catholic Church in Sainte Anne, MB with Fr. René Chartier presiding. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date. Special thanks to Soeur Rioux and the staff at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne.
