Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDMOND JOSEPH GAUTHIER It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edmond Joseph Gauthier on September 29, 2008. After battling a heart illness he died peacefully in his home at the age of 85 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 61 years, Marcelle (nee Andre); his eight children, Gilbert (Nicole), Gilles (Wilma), Bernard (Irene), Fernand (Doris), Norbert (Linda), Francois (Louella) and Michel, Ghislaine (Larry). He also leaves behind, 30 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren and one sister, Janet Pujo, 90 years of age. Edmond was predeceased by his daughter Marie Richardson and son-in-law, Garry Richardson and grandson Edmond Ross. Edmond Gauthier was born in Woodridge, Manitoba on May 14, 1923. He loved country living, farming, working in the bush cutting trees. He worked for 20 years in the Natural Gas Industry for GM Gest Pile Foundation and Harris Holdings. He had been retired for 23 years. Special thank you to the Fire Department and Paramedics. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Cathedrale, 190 Cathedral Ave. Viewing will take place at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at St. Labre Cemetery.
