MARGARETA (RETA) DIDUR 1931 - 2008 Reta passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. She is survived by Tom, her loving husband of 45 years; sister Nelly of Lloydminster, SK; brothers, John of Maidstone, SK, Ted of Cyprus, Ed (Hanny) of Wetaskiwin, AB; Jerry of Regina, SK and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Margret Petras and her sisters-in-law, Noreen, Rosemarie and Lorrie. Reta was a people-lover and was always willing to help others, especially in a spiritual way. After graduating in 1955 from the Bible School of Gilead in South Lansing, NY, she married Tom and both served in the ministry work in Vancouver, Calgary, Lethbridge, Brandon and parts of Winnipeg. Reta was a very happy person. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed feeding her family and friends. She loved flowers, bird watching, embroidery work and writing some poetry. Her greatest joy was comforting others with the Bible's promise of everlasting life on earth in a restored paradise with Christ Jesus as reigning king. - Revelation 21:3, 4. A family burial will take place on Friday afternoon and a memorial talk of Reta's life will be given on Saturday, October 4 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall Centre of Jehovah's Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd. Robertus Berkers will be officiating. Many thanks and much appreciation to the many kind caregivers, as well as to the hospital and medical staff.
