My heart still aches with sadness And secret tears still flow, What it meant to lose you No one will ever know. When I am sad and lonely When everything goes wrong I seem to hear you whisper Cheer up and carry on ! Each time I see your picture You seem to smile and say, Don't cry, I'm only sleeping, We'll meet in Heaven one sweet day. If all the world was mine to give, I would give it, yes and more, To see your loving face again, And greet you at our door. How often comes before me, Your precious face, kind and true, For death can never take away My love and memories of you! Your loving wife, Herta (Babe) You are my star!
