She proudly served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. Thereafter she worked full-time as a secretary, over and above caring for her family. Her last job was with Revenue Canada Taxation, which she enjoyed very much. Pauline loved gardening and exercising. In spite of her lengthy illness she never let on to her discomforts. She was kind, compassionate and courageous, devoted to her family, and always was willing to help those in need....right to the very end. She always put everyone ahead of herself. A private family service was held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. We wish to thank the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th Floor and Dr. G. Dalling for their care and compassion shown to mom during her stay and to Deacon Val for her support. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's name may be made to Canadian Celiac Association, 5170 Dixie Road, Suite 204, Mississauga, ON L4W 1E3. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
