MURIEL MAY SWEETLAND On Wednesday, October 1, 2008, Muriel May Sweetland passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 85 in the company of her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 66 years, Harold Sweetland; their daughter Judy Crosby (Wayne Stark); predeceased daughter Sheila Suitor; son Harold Lindsay (Wendy) Sweetland; grandchildren Michael (Shelley) Crosby, Jennifer (John) Ross, Jesse Suitor, Daniel (Carmen) Suitor, Evan Sweetland and Celia Sweetland; and great- grandchildren Ashton, Connor, Cassady, Keenan and Addison, along with numerous friends and relatives in Winnipeg and England. Muriel was a devoted wife, mother and dedicated volunteer/supporter of various charitable organizations. The family wishes to thank the Palliative and Rehabilitation staff at the Norwood Hospital for their wonderful care. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Kirk United Church, 13535-122 Avenue, Edmonton. Muriel will be placed to rest at Evergreen Memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Muriel may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, 4th Floor Aberhart Centre 1, 11402 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 2J3.
