Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH SARA WEIGHTON (nee GRIERSON) December 12, 1923 - September 29, 2008 It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Elizabeth Weighton, at home with her daughter and son by her side. She endured a lengthy and courageous battle with breast and bone cancer for the past 11 years. Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Bill, in August 2007. She leaves behind her devoted family, daughter Anne (James) McBride, son Ian (Ingrid), six grandchildren, Fiona McBride (Sean), Heather (Jason) Lang, May (Everett) Einarson, Maureen (Dustin) Story, Scott Weighton (Lindsey) and Lisa Weighton (Eric); five great-grandchildren Gavin and Makenna Lang, Justin, Emily and Liam Einarson; and brother Jack (Opal) Grierson. Cremation has taken place, with interment at a later date in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
