Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH KAY SIBBALD 1914 - 2008 Suddenly passed away September 27, 2008 at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital early a.m. Joe was born in Reston, Manitoba. His parents came from Scotland 1907 and settled there. Predeceased by parents Maggie and Joseph, sisters Jessie and Ina, left to mourn, his loving and devoted wife Mabel Sibbald (nee Stewart), many nieces and nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Well respected by many throughout his life and career with Swift Canadian Co. and J.M. Schneider Ltd. A kind and honest man, devoted to helping others and enjoyed sports in the teenage years. In curling, Joe became 2nd president of the newly formed Toronto Curling Association. In his later life, his Bridge at Silver Threads- Probus Club where he was honoured along with other 90 year old members. He was also a life member of Commercial Travellers Association. Joe will be missed by many. No service by request. No flowers. Donations may be made to our favourite charity. Champs Charity (Children of the War Amps). First Memorial Funeral Services
