Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLOYD ROBERT LEWIS BONHAM 1929 2008 Passed away suddenly on September 28, 2008 at his home in Belair, MB. Left to mourn are his daughter Arley; sons Benjamin and Darrell; three sisters Florence Bennett, Norma Langan and Beatrice Kansky; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; good friends Irene Stefanyshyn, Laddy Henry, and other good friends; wife Margaret Rose Bonham; stepdaughter Cheryl Smith; step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many in-laws and his cat Diddy Guy. He was predeceased by his parents Lewis and Elmira Bonham; two brothers Orville and Eddie Bonham; nephew Dwayne Kansky and stepson Earl Smith. A family graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Assumption Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

Dad and I were the best of friends. I loved my father so much. Floyd was a fair man and he would go out of his way to help anyone. Dad liked to play cards and visit with his friends. He loved his pets so much that he would actually cook for them, lol. He was so proud of his metis heritage. There was so much to say, and I wish that I had more time to sit with my dad and tell him the things that I needed to say. But as it is, I think that we all go through this dilemma. I miss my dad so much and I'd give anything to just be able to tell him how much I love him just one more time. I'll also take this time to say dad I finally made it. I wish that you can see me now. But I know that you are with me in spirit and dad I am so proud to know that you are my father and best friend. I love you and I miss you so much.
