Born in Inverness, Nova Scotia on May 31 1935, he was the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Clark) Timmons. Husband of Alice (Cornish) Timmons. Father of Earl (Sandra), Thompson, Manitoba; Helen (Lou) Nasato, Mississauga, Ontario and Alan (Carole), Gladstone, Manitoba. Grandfather of Darrin, Tasha, Larry, Steven and Brandy Timmons and Lee-Anne Doucet. Great-grandfather of Kyler, Cooper, Jolene, Karter, Emma and Braydon Timmons. Brother of Buddy (Molly), Betty Tonelli, Hank (Audrey), Wilma (Bill) Cameron, Wilson (Pearl), Harvey (Anna), Alfred (Valerie), Joyce (Mac) MacPhee, Douglas (Florence), Donalda MacEachern and Doreen (Phil) Scott. Brother-in-law of Doreen Timmons, Claude (Margaret) Cornish, Marvin Cornish, Mary (Wendell) Matchett, Ralph Cornish, Ursula Cornish and Donnie MacIntyre. Predeceased by his twin brother Andy, Edgar (late Marilyn), Jack, and Donald in infancy. Brothers-in-law Tony Tonelli, Lauchie MacEachern, Wendell Cornish, Elsie (late Guy)Ellis and (late Charlie) MacLellan, Jennie (late George) Murray, Lulu MacIntyre and Dorothy Cornish. Visitation was held on Friday, October 3 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Funeral was held on Saturday, October 4 in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. A private family committal service was held in the North Bedeque Cemetery on Monday. If so desired contributions may be made to the Shriner's Sick Children's Travel Fund or the Freetown United Church. Brethren of Mount Moriah Lodge No. 15, Central Bedeque held a Masonic Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel Friday evening at 9:00 p.m. DAVISON FUNERAL HOME 902-836-331 www.davisonfh.com
