TED DUNIK Ted Dunik passed away peacefully in his sleep at Burnaby Hospital on September 30, 2008 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his first wife Marie (nee Bucknall) and his second wife Elizabeth (nee Barber). Ted will be lovingly remembered by his children, Steve (Nicole), Peter, Audrey (Walter); grandchildren, Karin (Roy), Kristine (Kevin), Craig, Rose-Ann (Scott), Aaron, Paige, and his great-grandson Alexander. Ted also leaves behind many other close friends and relatives in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Winnipeg, his birthplace. The family expresses their special thanks to Kathie and Vic Galay, for all the kindness and care they showed to Ted in his last years. Memorial Service will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1150 Mount Seymour Road, North Vancouver, on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon following the Service in the Church Hall.

My condolences on your loss. My father-Michael Grela and aunt-Mary Grela were old friends with Ted from their years growing up in north Wpg.In more recent years Ted would regularly phone Mary and on special occasions send her flowers.
