In 1970 he joined the City of Thompson as a firefighter where he was proud to serve his community. In 1992 Henry and Iris moved to their cabin at Paint Lake which was built with the help of friends and family and was a testament to his superior craftsmanship. After 40 years in Thompson, Henry and Iris moved to Teulon, MB where they have made many wonderful friends. Dad's pride and joy were his children and grandchildren of whom he spoke about often and to anyone who would listen. He was his grandchildren's greatest fan at any event they participated in. Dad was also known for his attention to detail and ability to light up everyone's Christmas celebrations with his spectacular light shows. Dad was always willing to help others and he will be forever remembered and sadly missed by all. Rest in Peace. Till we meet again.
