HELEN (HEINRICHS) WIEBE 1923 - 2008 Peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2008, Helen passed away at the age of 85. Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joyce (Marv) Falk, Lee (Bert) Friesen, Evelyn Thiessen and their families. She is survived by one sister and five brothers. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry S. Wiebe. Helen was born April 26, 1923 in the Hamburg area. She was baptized in the Plum Coulee Bergthaler Church. Throughout the years of working out of the home and raising her family, she always made time for her church through the women's mission group, choirs and teaching 4-H and sewing classes. Her talents included playing musical instruments, singing, drama and poetry. She was innovative and creative and always practiced living more with less. In her leisure time she enjoyed fishing and travelling with Dad, playing shuffleboard and card games. Mom's knitting was appreciated by both family and friends. Viewing and devotional will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. A Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, Stafford and Carter, Winnipeg. Interment to follow at Morris Heritage Cemetery.
