MARGARET ELEANOR WARD (nee THOMAS) February 25, 1910 - September 25, 2008 Mom gently crossed over in her 99th year with her daughters at her side. She was born in Winnipeg, MB, raised her family in Thunder Bay, ON retired to Victoria, BC and lived in Gibsons BC for her last six years. She was predeceased in 1990 by her husband of 54 years, Fred Ward and suddenly in 2007 by her daughter Eleanor (Bob Richardson). She will be greatly missed by daughters, Betty (Michael Lacoste) and Joan (Jack Bowman). She is also survived by four Inksetter grand-children, Mahlon, Elizabeth (Stephanne Lardy), Katherine and Jonathan; two Bowman grandchildren, Brian (Kaksha) and Scott (Jennifer) and three great-grandchildren, Jorja Rae and Genevieve Lardy and Aliya Bowman. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Mom will be remembered by all who knew her for her joy of life, her great sense of humour and amazing sharp wit.
