GWENETH J. McKENDRY On Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Middlechurch Nursing Home, Gweneth Jessie McKendry passed away and rejoined her husband James. She is survived by a son and a daughter, James Stephen McKendry (Susan Kathleen), Nancy Elaine Gweneth McKendry Cummings (Ron); five grandchildren, Elizabeth Gweneth McKendry, Aileen Fiona McKendry, Jessica Mary Cummings, Victoria Eileen Cummings and David James Cummings; sister Alwyn Whittaker of Montreal; brother Fred Wright of Nanaimo. Gwen was predeceased by her husband James William McKendry and parents John Jack and Winifred Winnie Wright. Gwen led an active life, travelling over much of the world with her husband James with the military. She was an active member of the Eastern Star. The family extends thanks to the staff at Middlechurch for the care she received. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
