MARGARET CHAMPAGNE (nee ERICKSON) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Champagne on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Ste Anne Hospital. At the age of 84, with family by her side, Margaret passed into eternity to meet her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Left to cherish her memory; her husband Celestin (Les), of 64 years; their children, Fred (Shirley), Ernie (Virna), Richard (Yvonne), Anne (Stan), Craig (Patsy), Kathy, Randy (LeeAnna), Michele Donald, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Doris and Lola (Jim) and brother John (Norma) as well as Lucie and Jean-Louis Saindon and the Dawson Trail family. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Delbert and Bob; sisters, Harriet and Bernice, and son Billy. A celebration mass in Margaret's honour will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Ste Anne Roman Catholic Church with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at the Parish Cemetery. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. P. Frédette and the nursing staff at Ste Anne Hospital, also Sister Irène Rioux for their care and support, as well as the homecare staff who looked after her during her illness.
