Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIDGET MARY FAGAN (nee KELLY) Peacefully, on Monday morning, October 6, 2008, in the loving arms of her daughter, Deirdre and her granddaughter, Patricia, Bridget Mary Fagan (nee Kelly) passed away. She had lived a life full of love and laughter with her family and friends. Born in Bray, Ireland on May 1, 1913, she was the last of seven children born to Daniel Kelly and Bridget Redmond Kelly. She was married to Paul Fagan for 45 years before he died on March 7, 1986. Our wee Mom and loving Nanny will be missed by son Paul, wife Patti (Christa and David); daughter Deirdre, husband Bill, granddaughter Patricia and Paul; son Adrian, wife Lynda, grandsons Brendan and Tim, granddaughter Alissa, husband Lucas and their son Owen; son John, wife Eileen, grandson Kevin. She will be lovingly remembered by her first friends in Canada, Bill and (wee) Lily Clifford. Families in Ireland, England and Australia will be touched by her passing as will her only surviving sister-in-law, Millicent Fegan; Thomas and Gina Nolan in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow and Joan and Pat Tierney. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and the friends Bridie made during her stay at Thorvaldson Care Home. We know that she will be missed especially by Mary Stansel and Irene. We must also thank the nursing staff and doctors of Victoria General Hospital. In memory of Bridie, please make donations to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8. Our formal farewell will take place on Friday, October 10, 2008 at St. Bernadette Church, 820 Cottonwood Road, Winnipeg at 11:00 a.m. Father Fred Olds presiding. Bridies' family has complied with her wish to follow her husband's example and have donated her body to the University of Manitoba for scientific research. Her children arise and call her blessed: her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Proverbs 31: 28-29
