HOWARD WILLIAM JOYCE Howard was born January 12, 1946 in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. He passed away peacefully on October 3, 2008, at Lions Gate Hospital in Vancouver, BC. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Edna; sons, Kevin (Jennifer) and Ashley (Sophie), and granddaughter Katie of Vancouver; brothers, Ron (Janet), Lorne (Liliane), Jerry (Lucy) and sister Irene Toews (Jack Letkeman); mother-in-law Helen Andres, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Doris; brother Roy and granddaughter Samantha. Dearly loved, his passing will leave a void in the lives of family and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m. in Richmond, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Howard's name to Heart and Stroke Foundation. A very informal celebration of Howard's life will also be held in Manitoba on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the LaBroquerie Hotel banquet room from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All friends and relatives of the late Howard Joyce and his family are cordially invited to attend.
