CHRISTOPHER CLYDE PONASK Tragically on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Thompson General Hospital, Mr. Christopher Clyde Ponask, aged 19 years, left this world. Beloved son of Elaine Ponask and (the late) Clyde Trottier. Cremation has taken place and an interment of Cremains Service will take place in Winnipeg at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Chris was born in Thompson, MB on October 5, 1988. He attended Juniper Elementary School. In 2003 he relocated to Edmonton to live with his mother, Elaine. There he attended Kennadale High School and adopted an extended family: Karen, Treyson, Jeffrey, and Sean. Chris and Randi were expecting their first child. Chris leaves to mourn his mother Elaine Ponask (Duncan); brothers, Harley and Kyle; girlfriend Randi Duke; grandparents: Linda Bons, Julyda Lagimodiere and Garry Fyke, and Fernand (Yvonne) Trottier; aunts and uncles: Sandra T. (David), Rachelle T. (Steve), Lisa Lagimodiere, James F. (Danielle), Dale Kipling, Keith P., William P. (Corinna), Gabriel P., Clifford P.; great-aunts: Juliette Howard, Elizabeth Burd, Margaret Youngson (Willy), Sandra P. (Grant), Mary (aka Georgina) Green (Steve), Darlene L., Joey L. (Marilyn), Elaine L. (Norman), great great-aunts and uncles: Emile Flett, Malvina Spence, Alice (Douglas) Thompson, Verna (Steve) Stevenson; cousins, Paige, Vincent, Jim Oman, Kyra, Jessilyn, Julie, Rachelle, Trish, Alicia, plus numerous other relatives and friends. Chris was predeceased by his father Clyde; Uncle Leroy, and great-grandparents: Joseph Gustuv and Marie Terese Lagimodiere, Mary Bons and David Ponask.
