CATHERINE CHRISTINE BAPTISTE (nee MAYTWAYASHING) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Cathy on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Health Science Centre. She went to be with her saviour and her family members that predeceased her. Cathy leaves to mourn her memory her children Selma (Marvin), Eric (Connie), Kelly (Georgina) and Sheila; her grandchildren Jonathan, Craig, Neil, Rachanda, Colton, Rachelle, Cory, Tessa, Dakota and Chasity; her sisters Sharon (Jack), Barbie (John), Lynn (Percy), Myna (Larry), Mary (Mike), Marlene and a brother David; her special friend Bill Paul of Winnipeg; along with many family and friends too numerous to mention. Cathy was predeceased by her parents Christina and Allan; sons Kirby and Victor; daughter Angela; brothers Roger, Ronnie and Lambert; her grandchildren baby boy Choken, Brandi, Kelvin; a niece Baby Girl Kristen; as well as two nephews Marcus and Allan. Wake services began on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Sheila Sumner's residence at Lake Manitoba First Nation. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Lake Manitoba Band Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Service will conclude at the hall, luncheon will follow.
