THERESA MARIE ELDRIDGE (nee LAMBERT) Elle a mis la vie dans habiter et nous est partis ses tresors. (She put the life in living and left us her treasures). After 88 vibrant years, on October 7, 2008, surrounded by the life and love created by Theresa and her husband Thomas, Theresa's candle flickered, then went out. Left to carry on Theresa's passion of love and life are her two daughters, Penny and Lynne; her four sons, Brent, Roy, Kenny and Byron, followed by her 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, plus her brother Aime; sisters, Grace, Anne and Evelyn. Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas of 28 years in 1974; her sons, Ronald and Jimmy, and grand-daughter Ashley. Theresa lived her life to the fullest and was always there for her children whenever they needed her, it did not matter even if it meant moving from province to province. Theresa's favourite pastime included Bingo, playing cards, reading, crosswords and camping. An open house will be held in the celebration of Theresa's life on Saturday, October 11 at 15 Byars Bay, in Winnipeg between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. As per her wishes, there will be no church service. There will be a private gravesite ceremony held for the immediate family only. The entire family would like to thank the medical and nursing staff at both the St. Boniface and Misericordia Hospital for the wonderful care she has received. Mom, we love you and will miss you dearly.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • My grandmother was and continues to be one of the largest influences on my life and who I am. I grew up knowing her love and idiosyncrasies that make us all human. I loved her with my entire heart and miss her presence in my life. I hope beyond hope that she found something better beyond the life we know and that somehow she got to be reunited with he husband which i think was her greatest wish in life. She taught me to cheat in cards, but to be responsible for my own actions and to be the best person I can be. She instilled my love for literature and crosswords and a sense of duty to ones country. I owe her more than I ever thanked her for. Miss her always. - Posted by: Davidson Falade (Grandsom) on: Jul 24, 2017
