HELEN WALL Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Helen passed away on Monday, October 6, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Helen will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Diane; sisters Mary Fleming and Kathleen McDonald (Albert); sister-in-law Shirley Love; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers Jim Love and John Love; and sister - in - law Bea Love. Born March 28, 1931 in Winnipeg, Helen worked at Eaton's mail order; then at the Bay Distribution Centre, where she became supervisor. Mom was a skilled knitter who enjoyed participating in the craft sales. She loved gardening, cooking, shopping (at the Bay of course) and looking after her dogs over the years (Tinkerbelle, Angel, Abby, Jasmine and Cleo). She was a loyal Blue Bombers and Blue Jay's fan. Helen will be remembered for her good nature, strength and devotion to her daughter. In compliance with Helen's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Sincere thanks to Dr. Schroeder, Dr. Geddes and Dr. Kroeker for their excellent care and to all the staff at Grace Hospital (3 south) who looked after Mom in her last days.
