RUBY JESSIE HILL (nee COLLISON) It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and friend on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Oakview Place Personal Care Home at the age of 87 years. Remaining to forever cherish Ruby's memory are her son, Fred (Carolyn); grand-children, Darin (Tina), Leane (Ryan), Trevor (Karina); daughter, Valerie (Arnold Krezanski); grandchildren, Tom (Melissa); great-granddaughter Maya, Aaron (Dana); great-grandson Nathan; daughter, Lorraine; grandchildren, Michelle (Joe Jaromin); great-grandchildren, Ryan and Meagan, and grandson Rick Entwistle. She was the loving wife of the late Bert Hill of Winnipeg, MB. Ruby was always thinking and caring about others, especially when it came to her family. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and she loved them all very much! In compliance with Ruby's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A celebration of Ruby's life will take place at a later date. Special thanks to the nursing staff on the Third Floor of Oakview Extendicare, for their support and care given to our mother while she was a resident. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruby's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to a charity of your choice.
