AUGUST MUELLER Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, August Mueller of Whitemouth, MB passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Remida of 57 years, sons Gary (Sandra), Leonard (Christal) and Norman (Marianne), 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, his brother Herbert (Geisla) Mueller, sister Herta (Walter) Marcell and stepsister Ruth. August came to Canada from Germany in 1951. He worked in construction for 40 years in Winnipeg, MB. Later he moved to Whitemouth and farmed and worked at Nutimik Baptist Camp. He was a faithful member of Rowandale Baptist Church and Whiteshell Baptist Church. Thanks to the nursing staff at Whitemouth District Health Centre and Pinawa Hospital for their care and support, Dr. Spence for his care and compassion and Peter Aldyk and Pastor Greg for their support and prayers. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15 at Whiteshell Baptist Church, Seven Sisters Falls, MB with Pastor Greg Gaensler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Father Who worked so hard and saved so long For what we have today; And anytime would sacrifice his Chance to rest or play; Who always saw his children have the Things he did without; And gave so much unselfishly, For that's what love's about. Who sought no honours, no rewards For all that he has done, Except to raise a family, The very finest one. Though we cannot evaluate our Dad, His love, his worth, To us he'll always be Just Dad , the greatest guy on earth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake Nutimak Baptist Camp.
