LILIANNE PELOQUIN Née Gariépy It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Lilianne Péloquin. Lilianne left us peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 12, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. Mom was born on May 2, 1928 in St Jean Baptiste, Manitoba. She met Rosaire, a young soldier coming back from the war and soon after married on October 18, 1947. They settled in the farming community of Ste. Agathe, Manitoba for 17 years. In 1964, the family moved to St. Boniface where mom loved to entertain in her backyard, especially in her gazebo. Mom cherished the family get togethers and all the holiday reunions. Her faith in God was the strength that carried her through the latter part of her illness. Our family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Paroisse Precieux Sang, 200 Kenny Street. Interment will be held at a later date in Ste Agathe. MB.
