IRENE DORIS LOVE (NEE CUNNINGHAM) 1916 - 2008 Irene Love, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2008 at the age of 92 at Meadowood Manor Personal Care home. She was predeceased by her husband James Christopher (Kit) in 1997; her sister, Dora McBeth and niece Lynne Johnston. She is survived by: Daughter Blaine (Henry) and sons Bob (Savellia), Tom (Donna) and Jim (Arlene); five grandchildren Janice (Jason) Boland, Brandy (Mark) Schillinger, Kyle Klatt, Sandy (Dave) Chubka and Dana (Kevin) Cook. Five great-grandchildren: Katelyn and Matthew Boland, Owen and Elise Chubka and Avery Schillinger. She is also survived by her sister, Audrey McCosh and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Irene was born in Winnipeg on August 4, 1916 where she resided all of her life. She enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, knitting, playing bingo and travelling with Kit during their retirement years and most especially enjoyed their summer cottage at Lake of the Woods. The Love Families and the Klatt Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the staff at Meadowood Manor for their wonderful and caring support to Mom (and Blaine) over the last 14 years. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 17th, 2008 at 11:00 am Meadowood Manor, 577 Ste. Anne’s Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba with Pastor David Holland officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to Meadowood Manor or to a charity of one’s choice. Everyone is asked to celebrate Mom’s life and remember her in their own special way.
