THOMAS HENRY TAYLOR Peacefully, on Friday, October 17, 2008, Thomas passed away at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 88 years. Thomas is survived and greatly missed by his loving wife Mary of 63 years, daughters Beverly Heiser (Donald), Rosemarie Fahl (Jim Foster) and son Thomas (Carrie) as well as grandchildren Teresa Ziegler (Kelly) and Trent Heiser (Lian), three great-grandchildren Cody and Nicole Ziegler and Nicholas Heiser. Born on July 19, 1920, in Winnipeg, Thomas was employed as a professional painter and decorator, working with his father in the family painting and decorating business. During the Second World War he served in the RCAF and met his lifelong friend Robert Farnworth. Both of them enjoyed many happy memories and times together. Years later Thomas became employed at Canada Post and later retired after 24 years of loyal service. He will be always remembered for his stories, humour and outgoing personality. Thomas always enjoyed the company of others and brought the best out of them. He will be sadly missed. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, (Aubrey Street entrance) with burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
