SAMUEL IRWIN SANDERS July 4, 1940 – October 20, 2008 Samuel Irwin Sanders, aged 68, passed away on October 20, 2008 with his family at his side. He leaves to mourn his wife Ruth (nee Belton) and three children; Samuel (Janet), Wade, and Jennifer (Michael). He also leaves four grandchildren: Sam, Dustin, Sandra and Lisa; four great-grandchildren: Kayley, Breeann, Daniel, and Brooke. He is survived by his mother Kathleen, and mother-in-law Caroline Belton, as well as his sisters Janet (Barry), Cathy (Eddie), and Margaret Ann (Garry). Missing him also is Ina and Stan Kuchciak, sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Sam was lucky to have a large extended family. This includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as a great number of friends that will also miss him greatly. Sam was predeceased by his father Samuel Sanders Sr., father-in-law Charles Belton, as well as two brothers-in-law Henry and Alan, and his sister-in-law Margaret. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba CancerCare Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, Mb., R3E 0V9. Sam’s funeral service will be held on October 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc. Funeral Home, which is located at 3030 Notre Dame Ave. across from Brookside Cemetery. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
