Vivienne was predeceased by her parents Haraldur and Ingibjorg Magnusson, and her sister Marjorie Alexander. As her children grew older Vivienne took a position working at the PC Party Headquarters where she was a dedicated employee until she retired. True to her Icelandic heritage Vivienne was, until recent years, a tireless volunteer for the Icelandic Festival of Manitoba, an organization that honoured her with a “life membership” award. One of her most cherished memories was her experience serving as Fjallkonan in 1985 which she shared with her daughters who served as her attendants.
