W. BRIAN MOORE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brian on October 11, 2008, at the age of 69, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was predeceased by his parents Edith and Edward Moore. Brian is survived by Jean, his loving wife of 43 years; his sister Colleen (Grant) Ligertwood; his brother Patrick (Diane) Moore; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Charlene and Lawrence Lachuta. He was raised in Winnipeg and graduated from Tec-Voc Technical School. He went on to varied careers with Lee Bern Electronics, Advance TV and finally with the Department of Highways, retiring in 1995 due to ill health. Cremation has taken place and in compliance with Brian's wishes there will be no formal service held. In Brian's memory, should friends desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg or to a Charity of their choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.

Jean, I'm only reading this now (Mar. 28/2015)and I'm so sorry I didn't know sooner. 2008 was hectic for me too as that's when Gordie went into personal care and my Mom was headed there too. I was just looking for another Moore when I came across Brian. I hope you're doing ok by now and still in good health. I still miss our friend Doreen and her larger than life personality.
