ISABELLE STEWART On Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB Isabelle Stewart aged 89 years of Winnipeg, MB. Isabelle was born on May 21, 1919 in the R.M. of Roland near Myrtle, MB daughter of James and Nellie Stewart. She was the second youngest daughter of a family of four sons and eight daughters. She worked at the Transcona Cordite Plant during the War. After the war she and her sister Ann started with Eaton's Mail Order Office where Isabelle worked for 46 years. She enjoyed playing golf, cards and loved going on country drives in her car. She also enjoyed nice restaurants and visiting the Casinos. Isabelle is survived by her brother-in-law George Baker, a very dear friend Edna Ludwick, nine nieces and 13 nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings. Funeral service will be held from Doyle's Funeral Chapel in Carman, MB on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Catherine Waldie officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Graysville Cemetery. Thank you to the nursing staff on N1 south at the Concordia Hospital for the care and kindness given to Isabelle and her family during her stay.
