DENIS LAVALLEE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Lavallée, beloved husband of Gail, on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Denis will be remembered by his wife Gail and daughters, Michelle and Monique (Kevin), grandchildren, Anthony, Chantelle, Anita, Jenna and Cody. He is also survived by his sister Pauline (Denis) Alary, brothers, Paul (Linda), Robert (Lorraine) and numerous nieces and nephews. Denis was predeceased by his father Gerard; his mother Alida, and sister Gisele. He was born in La Salle, MB on July 6, 1943. He was a truck driver for most of his life until his retirement in July 2008. He spent most of his free time at Tarryall where he enjoyed fishing, his friends and his lucky. In lieu of flowers, donations in Denis' memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Ron Léger presiding. A private family interment will be held in La Salle at a later date.
