MYRTLE DOREEN HERITY (nee CHRISTIE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrtle Doreen Herity on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Grace Hospital. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 64 years, Boyd (Bud) Herity, son Doug and wife Shadow, son Ross, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Doreen was predeceased by her daughter Barbara, sister Pearl Gair and brother Jess. Doreen had many gifts. She loved to cook and bake for her family and often delivered a baking surprise to her nephews and friends. She loved animals especially Dachshund dogs. She had a keen sense of humour which sustained her during her stay in the hospital. Doreen was very proud of her children and their accomplishments. She was always ready to help them at any time. An Irish Blessing May the road rise up to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face And the rains fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
