CLARE EMPSON November 17, 1920-October 29, 2008 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Clare Empson, on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at the Riverview Health Center. Clare was born in Gloucestershire, England and moved to Canada in 1946. Clare is survived by her husband Roy of 63 years, daughter Mary (Tony); grandchildren: Kerry (Karen), Kristine (Dion), Jaison (Lynda), Brittain (Tammy) Gregg (Danielle); great-grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Kyra, Cole, Brayden, Logan, Liam, Avery, Rhys, Connor and Jagger; sister Rona (Gordon) Taylor and sister-in-law Pearl Smith. She was predeceased by her son Mike and daughter-in-law Tanys. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of 3 West Riverview Health Centre. In keeping with Clare's wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald St. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008, in the United Church in Emerson, Manitoba.
