MARGARET MARY BRUDER (nee MOORE) November 9,1922 - October 30, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Margaret on October 30, 2008 at the Grace Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril (Cy); her parents Paul and Chloe Moore; her sisters, Frances Elaine Baker and Mary Ellen Moore; and recently her son-in-law Wes Jones of Barrie, Ontario. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Mary Ellen Jones of Barrie, Ontario and Marni (Marcel) Chartier of Winnipeg; her beloved grandchildren, David Oliver of Montreal, Karen (Simon) Bertrand and Trevor Jones of Barrie, Ontario; her brother Paul Moore; her great-granddaughter Charlotte, as well as many nieces and nephews extended family and friends. She was born November 9, 1922 in Winnipeg and educated at St. Mary's Academy and the University of Manitoba. She was a lovely, warm woman who cherished her family. Her favourite activities included bridge, following the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team, keeping up on all the news and the occasional jaunt to Las Vegas a total dose of unreality . Special thanks to the wonderful staff at The Wellington, where Mom lived since 1997, and to the dedicated staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Brebeuf Church, 605 Renfrew St., on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with prayers taking place one half hour prior to the funeral mass, with Father Michael Koryluk presiding. A reception will take place at the Wellington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or the CNIB, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3. God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best We will love and miss you forever Chapel Lawn 885-9715
