Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADA BUTLER (nee PATERSON) Peacefully, passed away at Joseph Creek Care Village in Cranbrook, BC on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Ada was born on March 14, 1918 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married Bert Butler on May 6, 1942. Ada was a long time member of St. Vital Horticultural Society, St. Vital United Church, and the English Springer Spaniel Club of Manitoba. In 2006 Ada and Bert relocated to Cranbrook, BC to be near her daughter and family. Ada was a loving wife and companion to Bert for 66 years, a caring mother to son Larry and wife Connie, daughter Dianne and husband Brant, a fun, energetic Grandma to Clint and Jaimie, Curtis and Dawn, Jessica and Troy, Krista and Andrew, Alissa and Aaron, and Brittany and a Great-Grandma to Josie, Chloe, Carter, Joshua, Gracie and Sarah. She will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank the staff of Joseph Creek Care Village and Dr. Keith Lowden. Special thanks to granddaughter Jessica and Susan Cullum for their special visits to her. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
