CAROL VIOLET WAYNE (KISILOSKI) May 26, 1940 - October 26, 2008 Carol Violet Wayne peacefully passed away in her favorite spot at home with her husband Richard at her side. Carol is survived by husband Richard, daughters Leslie Boland and Tracy Wayne, and by siblings Ed Kisiloski and Helen Knelson. She will as well be dearly missed by close family and friends, most especially Eric, Nicholas, Ruth, Amber, Carol and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Carol was born in Selkirk, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Millie (Smotrycki) Kisiloski. While both a wife and mother, Carol was also a dedicated career woman who spent half a century in the insurance industry, working at Gore Mutual, Johnson Higgins, and Marsh Insurance Brokers. For the last 14 years to the time of her passing, she worked at Richard Wayne Insurance. Carol will be remembered as a kind, determined woman who loved her family dearly. She most enjoyed taking trips with Richard to visit her daughters, friends and family in Calgary and Vancouver. She created many wonderful, fun and lasting memories on these trips. In many ways a very private person, Carol was quite sensitive and the people she cared about were always foremost in her mind. Carol was a newsie , always interested in current events and TV documentaries. She also enjoyed fashion, sewing, knitting, and all her pets but especially her black cat, Howard. At the end, Carol inspired us all by passionately embracing new challenges, new hobbies and new friendships. Carol never wanted anyone to fuss over her and her family is grateful she passed quietly with little suffering. She will be profoundly missed, but cherished forever in our hearts and minds. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9 (ph 982-2041), or to a charity of one's choice. DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949
