DIANE LEBLANC It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane LeBlanc on October 29, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital after months of battling cancer. Diane is survived by her beloved husband John LeBlanc, cherished daughter Crystal Harvey, step children Robin and Don LeBlanc and her sister Sue Harling of Holley, New York. Diane was born in July 7, 1951 in Rochester, New York. She moved to Toronto in 1970. She worked as a manager at Bell Canada until moving to Winnipeg in 1996. Diane was an inspiration to the community working as a former Health Care Aide and later as a volunteer at Park Manor. Diane had a passion for gardening and she was the Secretary of the Transcona Garden Club. She spent as much free time as she could in her garden and her garden was admired by many. Viewing will be held on Monday November 3, at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow on Tuesday, November 4 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy. at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank our friends and the nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate and caring support shown to Diane and her family during her illness. We love you and we will miss you. You will be forever in our thoughts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
