GARY JOHN MIKOLAYCHUK November 1, 1955 - October 27, 2008 Gary, my dear Lovie of 31 years, you have left us with so many memories, and have now so suddenly left us. All your life, you were a hard worker who would put everything into any task. You delivered papers as a kid, walking for two miles or more in Pointe du Bois, even when it was -40 below. You were an expert with riding lawn mowers, right from when you were young. You eventually learned how to out-fish your Dad and smoke some pretty darn good gold-eyes. You worked at Air Canada from 1979 until you retired in 2005, and told me some very interesting stories just before you would go to work, and of your friendships with many, particularly with Eugene, Kibsey and Chester, who will always be special. You had loving grandparents, Annie and Joseph Mikolaychuk who spoiled the crap out of you. You have your Mom and Dad, Margaret and Johnie Mikolaychuk, your sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bruce Andrews, and your mother-in-law and your friend, Inge Bauer and Woody...all of whom wish they could still spoil the crap out of you. And then there's me. Ingrid Bauer...and I just can't fathom what I will do without you. Rest in Peace, my Love. The family would like to thank all the support provided by the Pine Falls Ambulance EMS, the Pinawa Hospital, and particularly all staff in the MICU of the Health Sciences Centre. At Gary's request, cremation has taken place and no funeral services will be held. If friends and family so desire, donations in Gary's memory may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 9Z9. • I knew from my gary single visit in the year of the Lord 1989th He was always friendly and correct. A few days ago, I flew over canada on the way to El Salvador and thought about Gray and my uncle Hanns. I found this ad by accident. - Posted by: Claus-Peter Kotulla (Cousin from Ingrid Bauer) on: Apr 15, 2012

  • Gary we had many a good laugh together at Air Canada while working the midnight shift. Many a card game was played in the lunch room , as we talked about what stock to buy next. Gary was a really good guy to know and made the midnight shift that much more bearable. I kept in touch with Gary after he had retired, talking about of course stocks to buy. I wish he could have seen the day when his ewk hit a home run. I will miss Gary, but will cherish the memories of the good friend I had. Chester. - Posted by: John Wheeler (Friend) on: Nov 01, 2008
