BEATRICE AGNES WOOD 1921 - 2008 It is with heavy hearts, but wonderful memories, that we announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother Beatrice on October 31, 2008 at Riverview Health Centre. Beatrice will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her four children Edgar (Marilyn), Kenny, Ross, Georgina (Richard), grandchildren Todd, Cindy (Donnie), Sheri (Donnie), Darryl, Trevor (Jennifer), Asham (Delbert), great grandchildren Tyler, Samantha, Dorian, Dylan, Kayley, Caitlyn, Rileigh, Ezeray, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Edgar in 1970 and her son Grant, five sisters and one brother. Throughout her life mom displayed many acts of kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity to all her family and friends. The most important role in Beatrice's life was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was very proud of her home on Manitoba Avenue where the door was always open for the past 59 years. Mom worked for the Winnipeg School Division for many years. The family would like to thank the staff on 3E at Riverview Health centre and Dr. Reimer, Dr. Loiselle, Dr. Haligowski and Nurse Betty. At Beatrice's request, cremation and a private family service has taken place. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone For part of us went with you the day God called you home. Though your smile is gone forever, And your hand we cannot touch, We will never lose the memory of one we loved so much. Thanks for the loving years you gave us And the happy times we shared, We all pray that when you left us you knew how much we cared. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will be linked again. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
