SUZANNE ALLBUTT 1971 - 2008 It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Suzanne Lyn Allbutt on October 31, 2008. Beloved daughter of John and Jacqulyn, granddaughter of Evelyn Colp, sister of Lisa (Ian) and John (Hanh), aunt of Lezlie and Alec, niece of Murray and Patricia, Patty and Tim, Cathryn and Greg, cousin of Maurita (Wayne, Liam and Mason), Michael, Andrew, Patrick, Scott, Darcy and Cathryn, Deborah and Jeff, Elaine and Glenn, Stacy, Sean (Liz and Jack), Betty, Doug (Jackie and family), godmother of Avery, and Auntie Sue to Madeleine, Nathan and Ryan, and her four-legged friend Ozzie. Suzanne will also be fondly remembered by her many friends. Suzanne loved to laugh, play games (especially Scrabble) and spend time with family and friends. She delighted in attending Lezlie and Alec's soccer games, school events and birthday celebrations. She gave happily and freely of her time to her friends and family, and was rewarded with the affection of many. She especially loved the cottage and her lake family. Suzanne's last few months were difficult, and the family is especially appreciative of the support of Kelly Dupuis, Jennie Moszynski, Elaine Bennett, her colleagues at the University of Manitoba, and all friends and family who visited her. A huge hole has been left in all our lives. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, 925-1120. In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
